11/26 UPDATE: Corporate officials from Hardee's announced a $5,000 reward Tuesday for information about the robbery. They also are offering their support for the police investigation.

UPDATE 11/5: Police have released surveillance photos from the scene. The suspects are described as black males who were wearing hooded sweat shirts and wearing masks. One was armed with a firearm.

Officials say the same Hardee's on London Blvd. was also robbed on January 27.

PORTSMOUTH--Police say an employee was hurt during the robbery of a Portsmouth fast food restaurant.

Officers were called to the Hardee's at 850 London Boulevard just before 9:00 p.m.

According to police spokesperson Detective Misty Holly, an employee activated the panic alarm just before the two men took cash and left.

An employee told 13News Now she and three other workers, plus the manager, were in the restaurant at the time. She and some of the workers ran out the front door.

A 53 year-old female employee was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The restaurant was closed as police investigated the incident.

An employee told 13News Now this is the third robbery in about a year.
