SUFFOLK -- A student who had two bullets in his lunchbox at a Suffolk middle school won't face disciplinary action, school officials said Thursday.

According to police, a student's lunch box fell on the floor in a classroom at John Yeates Middle School Wednesday and two bullets rolled out. The student gave the bullets to a teacher.

Police said the parents admitted the bullets belonged to the student's father and the lunchbox was taken to the school unknowingly by the student.

The student will not face disciplinary action or prosecution, official said.
