The kettledrive goes through Christmas Eve, butthere's a special event to help the Salvation Army taking place just this weekend --the annualWomen's Auxiliary H.O.P.E. for the Holiday's Fashion Show & Auction.

26 women and children can get assistance at any time at the six homes in H.O.P.E. Village, which is a residential-style community shelter program for homeless single women and women with children.

'Women can live with us for up to 24 months. During the program, they participate in life skills clases, they have daily case management, they do budgetting, they have a mandatory savings program and one of the wonderful things we've been able to do is not charge rent or utilities,' said Meghan Foster, the program director.

Rebecca Coates is trying to get her life on track.

'Obtain employment, further my education and sothatwhen we leave here, exit the program, we canbe productive, give back to our communities and make our mark in society,'she said.
