What is it? a reusable rug gripper

What does it claim? that you just press and stick so rugs don't slip. Ruggies also claims to keep rugs and mats in place without leaving any messy residue.

Who tested it? Norfolk resident and new mom to little Joshua, Nicole Bryan.

What Are The Instructions? You first place your carpet or throw rug in your desired place on the floor. Then pull back one corner of the carpet or throw rug. Next remove the protective backing from one of the Ruggies Rug Grippers and adhere the smooth surface directly to the underside of the carpet. That means the textured side should be up.

It's important to note here that all carpets vary. So if Ruggies do not stick firmly to the carpet you can use the Ruggies removable tape that's provided to help out. Take the backing off the removable tape and stick it to the bottom corner of the carpet. Then place the Ruggies Rug Gripper. Next place the corner of the carpet or throw rug back in place and firmly press the corner so the textured side of Ruggies adheres directly to the floor. Then just repeat those steps on the other three corners of the carpet.

When you're ready to move your rug just gently remove Ruggies from the floor and carpet. Wash the Ruggies with warm and soapy water. Rinse and let Ruggies air dry. DO NOT put Ruggies in the dishwasher. Once they're dried Ruggies are ready to be reused!

Did it work? Bryan was very impressed. As a busy new mom she was concerned that some of her rugs might be a little slippery if she were walking through with little Joshua in her arms. So she wanted to make sure they were going to stay in place. She had tried other things but nothing was fool proof. That is until she tried Ruggies. She did have trouble at first trying to get Ruggies to stick to her carpet. But once she put the Ruggies removable tape on it worked just fine. She was even more impressed when she had to wash her Ruggies and reuse them.. it worked great! Just as sticky as the first time she used it.

Cost/Availability? You can purchase a package of eight Ruggies at Walmart for $9.88.
