CHESAPEAKE -- Police are searching for two suspects who shot a man inside his home in Chesapeake Monday night.
The incident happened in the 4600 block of Woodmark Trail just before 11 p.m., according to Chesapeake Police Officer Kelly O'Sullivan.
That's when police say the two suspects forced their way into the home and shot the man. They then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The 41-year-old victim was transported to Norfolk General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, O'Sullivan said. The victim's girlfriend who was also inside the home at the time was not injured.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Chesapeake police.
