What is it? a stamp you can use to help protect your identity. You stamp it over your personal information so no one can read it.
What does it claim? to be quiet, clean and handy - a great alternative to a shredder.
Who tested it? Virginia Beach resident Jason Salazar
What Are The Instructions? It really is easy. All you have to do is line up the stamper over top of what you want to cover up and press down on it. Watch out because it takes a little time for the ink to dry. On paper, it dries fairly quickly. Iif you are trying to stamp out your name and address on a magazine, drying takes a little longer. If you wipe it while it's wet, the ink will come off and you will have to do it again.
The text plate may get dirty. If it does, you can remove debris by pushing lightly on the text-plate surface with a piece of tape.
Did it work? Salazar thought it did a good job. He has a one-year-old daughter, so having a shredder in the house is a concern. With the stamper, he says he can protect his ID and still keep his daughter safe.
Cost/Availability? You can purchase the Kes'pon Guard Your ID STAMP at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $9.99.
