NORFOLK -- Old Dominion University's Men's Basketball team's home jerseys are back home.

The white uniforms and some athletic equipment disappeared from Ted Constant Convocation Center over the weekend. The theft was discovered when the team returned Saturday night from playing Va. Commonwealth University in Richmond.

They were found Tuesday morning when a groundskeeper alerted a university police officer about a suspicious bag in parking lot #42 off Powhatan Avenue .

The ODU atheletic bag had five white ODU jerseys, four blue jerseys, three pairs of athletic shoes, one pair of blue and four pairs of white basketball shorts, and a long-sleeved shirt, ODU spokeswoman Jennifer Mullen told

Now, the Monarchs will have the right uniforms for Saturday's game against William and Mary.

Mullen said replacement uniforms had been ordered by the ODUAthletics Dept.
