NORFOLK -- Henry Benjamin McIntosh Sr. was a barber and owner of Square Deal Barbershop in Norfolk for over 50 years.

He was murdered on April 17, 2010 while at work.
Now, four years later, his daughters carried on a Labor Day tradition he used to while he was living.
'One of the things he did in giving back was make sure little boys went back to school with a haircut,' Pamela Livingston, one of McIntosh's daughters said.
Dozens of kids passed through the barbershop today.
'Dad was a giving person,' Livingston said.
In the meantime, McIntyre's picture sits right by his barbershop chair- serving as a reminder of who he was as customers come inside the building.
'I really loved being around him. I mean, everyday, it was just great conversation. He was just a great comrade,' Ivan Boyd, a co-worker of McIntyre's said.
Livingston said they will continue this labor day tradition for years to come.
Police have a man in custody they believe is responsible for his murder, and this case is expected to go to trial as early as January.
