What is it? a smiley-faced scrubber that supposed to be great for all kinds of tasks, especially dishes. Scrub Daddy is a scrubber, not a scouring pad. It can remove debris from a surface without damaging or scratching.

What does it claim? to be a scratch-free scrubber that softens up in warm water and stays firm in cool water. It uses technology called FlexTexture.

Who tested it? Michael Johnson, the dishwasher at Charlie's Cafe in Norfolk.

What Are The Instructions? You control the FlexTexture of the Scrub Daddy by adjusting the water temperature.

To get started, you need to decide what temperature you want to use it in. If you need Scrub Daddy to be firm, use cool water; if you want it to be soft and pliable, use warm water.

Scrub Daddy is ergonomic so when you're cleaning with it you can hold it snug with two fingers in what looks like the eyes of the smiley face. That helps you mold it in warm water into the corners of things to get them clean.

he Scrub Daddy smile can be used to help you clean both sides of utensils. Just push it through and squeeze. Because of the way it's made, debris rarely sticks to Scrub Daddy. If it does, you can usually flush it out by simply squeezing and massaging repeatedly under warm running water for 30 seconds.

Scrub Daddy can also be used to clean surfaces like counter tops, shower enclosures, lawn furniture and grills.

Scrub Daddy will last for up to two months if cleaned and rinsed properly. You can wash Scrub Daddy in the laundry or dishwasher. Depending on the humidity, it dries in a few hours sitting out on the counter. It will dry even faster if it is standing on it's edge.

Did it work? Johnson thought it did a great job. He really liked how pliable it became in warm water. His only complaint is that he has very large hands and he found Scrub Daddy be kind of small and a little awkward to use. He did like how it cleaned, especially the way it cleaned both sides of a utensil.

Cost/Availability? You can purchase Scrub Daddy at Bed Bath and Beyond for $3.99.
