A recent survey found that more people are turning on their mobile devices in the bedroom, rather than watching TV.

Motorola Mobility surveyed 9,500 people in 17 countries and found that 'consumers are watching an enormous amount of video, in some surprising ways, in unexpected places.'

According to the survey, 46 percent said they watched videos on their smart phones before bed and 41 percent said they watched on a tablets. By comparison, only 36 percent said they watch TV before or after getting in to bed.

Motorola says the data shows that customers want more flexibility in how and where they watch videos, TV shows, and movies.
