NEWPORT NEWS -- A Newport News man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself to an officer in front of Salsa's Restaurant at City Center Saturday.

Police say an officer working at the restaurant denied two Hispanic males from entering because of a previous fight.

The two males then went across the street and began filming the restaurant, police said.

A few minutes later, 40-year-old Cesar Gonzales walked towards the restaurant, turned around and allegedly dropped his pants in front of the officer, exposing himself.

Gonzales is charged with drunk in public and indecent exposure.
