7/16 UPDATE: Seifert has been charged with an additional 16 counts of felony child sexual abuse, according to officials with the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office.

The incidents, which involve another teenage boy, occurred at the suspect's home and at the Edgehill Pool between 2011 and 2013.


YORK COUNTY -- A York County man has been charged with an additional 10 counts of felony child sexual abuse.

The York-Poquoson Sheriff Office says the new charges against Thomas George Seifert involve two male teenage victim. The suspect was arrested last month for allegedly having inappropriate contact with another boy.

Some of the incidents allegedly happened at Seifert's home in the 500 block of Meadowfield Road. The investigation also found that there were other alleged incidents at the Edgehill Pool.

Seifert volunteered and managed the snack bar at the Edgehill Pool in the 700 block of Cockletown Road for the last five years.

The 56-year-old suspect also served as an assistant troop leader with the Boy Scouts.

The investigation is on-going and additional charges may be pending.
