1/1 UPDATE: Police say 37-year-old Jerry Lekeith Henderson and 25-year-old Latoya Christine Heath rented a car at Richmond International Airport and were caught when they returned it there.

Henderson is charged with five counts of robbery, three counts each of conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Heath faces four counts each of robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and five counts of conspiracy to commit a felony.


NEWPORT NEWS -- Police are investigating a robbery at a Newport News bank Tuesday.

Police say a black male entered the Old Point National Bank at 11751 Jefferson Avenue around 5 p.m., implied he had a weapon and gave the teller a note demanding money.

The suspect took the cash and fled in a silver sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima.

Detectives continue their investigation.
