NORFOLK -- It's another hot day in Hampton Roads with temperatures expected to reach the lower to mid-80s. That's on the warm side of normal, says 13News Now Meteorologist Craig Moeller.

The rain will move in Thursday afternoon. Expect stray showers or storms and then potentially heavy rain late Thursday into Friday.

'After the front passes tomorrow, cooler and drier air will move in for the weekend,' Moeller adds. 'Highs Friday will be close to 75 and then in the lower-to-mid 70s over the weekend.'

The best changes for strong or severe storms Thursday is in central Virginia.
