NORFOLK -- E-ZPass is warning customers about a possible phishing scam.

According to an email sent to customers, E-ZPass believes people have been receiving invalid notices that appear to be from the company and ask customers to pay unpaid tolls.

They advise customers not to open or respond to the messages.

'If you have questions about the validity of any message received from E-ZPass, please contact our Customer Service Center at 877-762-7824,' E-ZPass officials said.
