News Editor

WVEC is looking for someone to edit and record news feeds, and route and record various satellite and microwave sources for daily newscasts. Knowledge of non liner editing is a must, experience with Edius or Adobe Premier editing software is preferred. You must have a continual knowledge of news stories locally, nationally and internationally and possess journalistic integrity. Must be able to work closely with coworkers and produce an excellent news product. You will need to work additional shifts as needed. One year of college or technical training and knowledge of newsroom operations is a plus. Must be a high school graduate and have a valid driver's license.
