NEWPORT NEWS - The annual Feeding 5000 Thanksgiving Harvest and Community Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 17 from noon 4:00 p.m. at the Farmers Market, 2801 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News.
Besides turkey and all the trimmings for people in need, guests will be entertained by Heritage High School Marching Band 'The Storm,' Divine Measures Band, Pentecostal Followers of Christ Choir from Suffolk, and many others.
State and local leaders will be 'celebrity servers' and many schools, churches and community service groups are involved in this day of Thanksgiving.
