Consumer experts say the average cost of a Thanksgiving meal went up in 2012.

After tallying up receipts from Thursday's big dinner, most people will probably find they spent more than the year before.

The cost to feed a family of ten, with turkey and all the fixings is up to nearly $50.

The bulk of the bill is the bird, which is up 3% in 2012, at about $22.
