NEWPORT NEWS - This is the 36th year that the Woman's Club of Newport News is opening its Santa House. Take a tour of the fully-decorated home, which will include a talking Christmas Tree in the foyer, a tour of Santa's Bedroom, a visit to the Gingerbread House and listening to a story read by Mrs. Claus in her kitchen. There also will be create-a-craft in the make it yourself area and Santa's Music Room and Puppet Theater.

Santa House is located in The Woman's Club of Newport News at 461 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard in Newport New. It's right across the street from Riverside Regional Medical Center.

Admission is $3.00 per person.

Friday, December 14th from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 8th & 15th from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 9th & 16th from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Santa House is one of our largest projects and has provided smiles to over 90,000 children and adults over the past 35 years, says Club President Susie Mowry.

Proceeds support the club's community programs, including the Daily Press Christmas Fund, the Soup Kitchen, our Veterans project, the Peninsula Food Bank, the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, the Peninsula Camp Fund, Sedgefield Girls of Excellence.
