CHESTER-More than just the Sunday paper was waiting for residents in a Richmond-area neighborhood.

'I picked it up, and I looked at it, and my heart started beating faster. I said, 'Now, what in the world?', said Kathy Thomas.

She said the flyer, in a plastic bag, claims to be from the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. The message of hate was delivered on the day before the Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday.

'Very disrespectful to his memory.' 'This man stood up for equality for everybody ... but I do understand that folks have their voice and their opinion. They can say what they'd like to say, but don't force it on folks,' said Tony Hobbs.

The same group is listed on flyers found on cars in a parking garage at Eastern Virginia Medical campus in Norfolk.
