NORFOLK-- Crews will continue to repair potholes around the clock, for the rest of the weekend.

VDOT spokesperson Jennifer Gwaltney says contractors are also helping with the job.

The action comes after Friday morning's storm opened up more potholes on area roads.

Saturday and Sunday, VDOT crews are focusing on sections along portions of 264, I-64, 564, and 464. Workers will start on outer lanes and then do inner lanes.

Gwaltney wants to warn drivers to slow down, to watch out for potholes and workers fixing the roads.

VDOT is planning a new schedule for repairs starting Monday. However, offiicals have not released where and when the jobs will be done.
