NORFOLK--TME Enterprises is now asking to be paid for the emergency pothole work that was done after Feb. 8th, the day when a number of cars blew their tires on I-264 potholes.

According to VDOT spokesperson, Shannon Marshall, the company is asking the department for $250,000 a week in expenses for fixing potholes over the past month.

Last week, VDOT released a preliminary report saying TME Enterprises did not repair potholes in a timely manner. The report was mostly critical of TME's repair job.
