Wind Damage Reported Near Richmond/ I- 95

We have received many reports of trees blown over and some damage to buildings out to the northwest of Hampton Roads.

As strong to severe storms move down from the Northwest the National Weather Service has issued Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in advance of these cells. We can expect to see the number of warned counties and cities increase over the next few hours.

Waterspout Reported

13News has received footage of a waterspout in the northern portions of the Chesapeake Bay. This storm is producing extremly heavy rains and strong winds and moving eastward towards portions of Maryland.
