UPDATE 5/9: Marcus Warrick was sentenced Friday to 180 months in prison, followed by lifetime supervised release, for receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

NORFOLK - A Va. Beach man was convicted Monday by a federal jury on six counts of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

Marcus Warrick, 29, faces five years minimum and 20 years maximum in prison for each count when he is sentenced on May 8.

Warrick was indicted on Dec. 6, 2013 by a federal grand jury after homeland security investigators executed a search warrant and seized his computer which was found to contain more than 400 videos and images of child pornography, according to court documents.

The investigation revealed that he installed a peer-to-peer file sharing program on his computer and, using search terms, actively sought out images of child pornography.
