NORFOLK -- A 40-foot rubber duck has descended upon the waters outside The Chrysler Museum of Art as part of a week-long grand reopening celebration.

The inflatable sculpture designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman has traveled around the world making visits in Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The duck's trip to Norfolk marks just the second stop of its U.S. tour.

The Chrysler Museum of Art reopened on May 10 following an extensive $24 million renovation and expansion.
