UPDATE 1/27: Ebony Caprice Miller pleaded guilty Monday in Norfolk Circuit Court to one count of 2nd degree murder. Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 4.


NORFOLK -- Police have charged Ebony Caprice Miller with the April 17 murder of Leonard Randolph.

Leonard Randolph, 58, was found stabbed to death in his home on April 17. Officers responded to the home in the 6900 block of Gregory Drive after his co-workers called police when he did not come to work.

Ebony Miller, 23, of Norfolk has been charged with murder. She is currently in the Norfolk City Jail.

Leonard Randolph's sister, Sonja Battee-Williams spoke to 13 News about her brother in April.

'He always has been a Godly person, and he'd do anything in the world for you,' said Battee-Williams. 'If he got a dollar and you needed it, he'd give it to you.'

Norfolk police spokesperson Chris Amos tells 13 News, investigators are still looking for a motive in this case.
