GLOUCESTER COUNTY A special candle light vigil was held to honor the lives of the 26 people killed in Connecticut.

'To have little kids taken away, we had to do something.' Amy Morgan was one of many to attend the memorial at the Gloucester Library. 'It's horrible to think that you put your child on a school bus or your drop them off and give them a kiss and tell them you'll see them in a little while, and you never see them again.'

Families came together to pray for the community of Newtown, where a gunman opened fire inside Sandy Hook Elementary school. Twenty children and six adults were killed.

Tracy Haywood helped organize the vigil. 'We feel their pain and obviously their children hear us. As we stand here we are getting rained on; so this is their tears from heaven.'
