PORTSMOUTH -- The Portsmouth Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with the passing of several counterfeit bills at local businesses.
Jason A. Eastridge, 29, has five felony warrants on file for uttering a counterfeit bank note.
Police say detectives were able to positively identify Eastridge as the suspect in several recent counterfeit cases in the downtown area.
In addition to securing the warrants against Eastridge, detectives executed a search warrant of his home. Evidence pertaining to the detective's investigation was recovered.
Eastridge is described as a white male, 6'0', approximately 185 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
