'The suspect was located in a closet in the business. He had placed a sock in his mouth and attempted to tie his hands in an effort to convince officers he had been abducted,' City spokeswoman Debbie George told WVEC.com.

The business had been burglarized earlier this week, but there were no arrests, George added.
