VIRGINIA BEACH (AP) -- The results of another study gauging the economic impact of a proposed arena at the Virginia Beach oceanfront will soon be made public.
The Virginia Beach City Council is scheduled to hear a presentation on the newest study at the 3:00 p.m. meeting on Tuesday.
This will be the third study on the proposal council members have seen. They commissioned the study to double check the numbers on a previous study.
The city is considering building an arena in hopes of luring an NBA team to town. While no details have been finalized, city officials say the arena would likely cost about $350 million and have 18,500 seats.
