VIRGINIA BEACH---It's not snow, but flooding, that has people in a Virginia Beach neighborhood concerned.

City engineers recently installed a plug on the Cape Henry ditch, off Shore Drive, but neighbors say it's in the wrong place and it does nothing to keep tidal flooding out of their backyards.

During the last nor'easter dozens of homes were underwater.

'With this pending storm, we have a plug in the wrong place. That's not helping us whatsoever,' said resident Barbie Sherrill.

13News pressed city officials Wednesday for answers and they say that despite flooding after the plug was installed, it's in the right place.

According to neighbors, city engineers identified it as a mistake at a Jan. 17 meeting.
