SUFFOLK-- Three Norfolk-based Navy sailors have been charged after a woman says they sexually assaulted her.

The victim says she was assaulted while visiting the apartment of an acquaintance in the 6000 block of College Drive on August 16, according to Suffolk spokeswoman Diana Klink.

Police charged 22-year-old Daniel Keith Saunders of Norfolk, 24-year-old Freddrick Lamar Thompson of Suffolk, and 20-year-old Michael Jerame Willis of Norfolk with abduction with intent to extort money or for immoral purposes, object sexual penetration, forcible sodomy and rape.

The suspects are being held without bond in the Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
