11:40 a.m. UPDATE: The fire is now under control; crews expected to be on scene for next 2-4 hours for overhaul; there is a lot of smoke in building and burned material inside the warehouse has to be removed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. :

CHESAPEAKE -- Employees have been evacuated from a Chesapeake warehouse as crews battle a fire inside the building.

Firefighters found light smoke coming from Eden Pellets around 10:15 a.m. The business is located in the 2000 block of Atlantic Avenue.

The company takes raw wood products or construction debris and converts it into pellets.

Crews are currently assessing the building.

No traffic issues have been reported.
