VIRGINIA BEACH -- About 77 percent of people in Hampton Roads drive alone more often than not, according to a new report.
It's just one of many pieces of information the Hampton Roads Transportation Organization gathered as part of a survey measuring expectations of the future in the region.
The Long-Range Transportation Plan Visioning Survey Report includes questions ranging from respondents preferred mode of transportation, to how they'd like to see money spent in the next 30 years.
When it comes to transportation concerns, traffic congestion topped the list. When asked how they'd like to see tax dollars spent, Light Rail was the most popular choice.
Transportation leaders will use this survey to prioritize major projects for the region in the coming years.
