CHESAPEAKE -- A house fire in the South Norfolk section of the city left four people without a home on Monday.

The house on Rowland Avenue went up in flames just before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Crews were able to put out the fire in a matter of minutes.

Four adults were in the home at the time, and they have been put in contact with the Red Cross for assistance.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
