Hampton native and former NBA star Allen Iverson is being accused by his ex-wife of kidnapping the couple's five children.

According to multiple news sources, court documents filed by his ex-wife Tawanna claim that Iversen picked up their five children for a vacation in Charlotte, North Carolina, but allegedly never returned the children to their mother on the appointed date.

Tawanna Iverson, who has sole legal custody of the children, has filed court documents in Atlanta, claiming that Allen said he was taking the five children, who range from ages three to 16, on a five-day vacation to Charlotte, NC.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Allen Iverson agreed to return the children on May 26. However, Allen never arrived, and Tawanna hasn't seen them since.

According to the documents, Tawanna tried to set up an exchange at a neutral site on June 4, but Allen never showed up. She claims in the documents that Iverson is keeping their children with him in a hotel in Georgia.

Iverson was already facing potential jail time for $40,000 in unpaid child support. His ex is pushing for jail time for the alleged kidnapping.
