NORFOLK- The Hampton Roads area will not get much of a break from storms on Friday. This after Thursday's damaging storms wrecked havoc from Southampton County to Virginia Beach.

The good news, 13NewsNow meteorologist Julie Wilcox says the storms will not be a severe as what we saw onThursday. Julie says 'there's a threat of more heavy rain, damaging winds, lightning and hail. The rain has fallen so quickly and the ground is so saturated that localized flooding on roadways and in low lying areas is a problem.'

Julie says there's a better chance of storms in the morning than in the afternoon.

High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80's.

The weekend looks much better with Saturday's high around 85 with only a 15% chance of rain.
