Tractor trailer leaking fuel shuts down part of I-264

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WVEC) -- All lanes are back open on Interstate 264 in Portsmouth after a disabled tractor trailer began leaking fuel.

The disabled vehicle is on westbound I-264 at Portsmouth Boulevard. Traffic was off of the Interstate from the exit ramp during the morning rush hour.

The on-ramp from Portsmouth Boulevard to I-264 WB was blocked as crews continue the cleanup effort. Traffic is backed up about one mile.

This is in the same area where a crash shut down the interstate on Wednesday night, and one person was hospitalized with serious injuries.
