Erin Patterson is a digital content producer for 13News Now. She joined the team in June 2017.

Erin originally is from Lancaster, Pennsylvania where her love of news began in high school in a video production class. It was in that class that she first learned to shoot, edit, write, and appreciate everything involved in “doing the news.”

She is a proud Temple University Owl and graduated from college with a B.A. in Journalism. Her most memorable experience during her time at Temple was covering the Papal visit to Philadelphia in 2015, and studying abroad in Rome and Los Angeles.

While in college, Erin edited an Emmy-award winning broadcast about the 2015 Paris terrorist attack, helped run her student-run newscast website, and worked in Temple's on-campus studio. Erin worked in the News and Programming and Production department for WPVI in Philadelphia and at KABC in Los Angeles. She also was an associate producer in the Internal Communication Department at Comcast Headquarters.

Erin is loving learning and growing as a digital content producer at 13News Now. She enjoys working on a wide variety of stories that impact the community.

When she’s not at work, Erin reads, takes her lab-schnauzer mutt, Bella, to local parks, eats as much sushi as possible, and soaks up the sun at the Oceanfront.
