'Pop' in to see Art Out Loud at the Chrysler Museum

The museum is hosting an adults-only event that is meant to be a tribute to pop culture.

NORFOLK, Va. — "Art Out Loud" is a quarterly themed event at the Chrysler Museum that invites adults to explore the museum after-hours.

January's theme is "Pop," and is meant to be a tribute to pop culture.

Guests can dance to decades of pop hits, compete in a digital scavenger hunt, create memes and discover surprising connections between the museum's art and popular TV shows and movies.

Food -- including "Pop Culture Gourmet Popcorn" -- and drinks will be available for purchase.

Art Out Loud: Pop will be on Friday, January 24 beginning at 6 p.m. and is for guests 21 and up.

Tickets are $12 for members, $15 for nonmembers in advance and $16 for members, $20 for nonmembers on the day of the event.
