HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- If your family is looking at getting into the holiday spirit, look no further than the Hampton Holiday Market.

The event is coming up this weekend, and you can even get some selfies with Santa. The first 150 children to visit with Santa get a free gift, and everyone gets a free candy cane. Rides on the festively decorated historic carousel are only $1.

There will be more than 30 vendors offering handmade crafts, jewelry, art, apparel, toys and accessories, homemade baked goods, pasta and treats, along with food trucks and the Lidl grocery store offering free samples and Christmas ornaments.

A beer and wine garden will also be available with proceeds benefiting educational programs. There will be live music throughout the day, and large-scale games and other activities for kids.

All this will lead up to the Holly Days Parade at 7 p.m. in Downtown Hampton.
