VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Winter is coming to Hampton Roads.

Well, it comes every year, but this time it's quite a bit earlier and for one night in Virginia Beach. To be more precise, the "Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience" is coming to the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater this September.

The critically-acclaimed tour will bring the music of the Emmy-Award winning "Game of Thrones" composer, Ramin Djawadi, to Virginia Beach on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 p.m.

Other concert stops include Washington D.C. and Raleigh, North Carolina.

The tour was established in 2016. It consists of an orchestra and choir performing music to some of the show's famous and fan favorite scenes. It also includes wall screens, special 3D designs, and effects.

Presale tickets begin at noon Thursday at the Amphitheater, with public sale tickets for the tour go on sale beginning Monday, May 13, 2019, at 10 a.m.
