NC townhome to be featured on HGTV's 'My Lottery Dream Home'

“We are big fans of HGTV so it was an honor to get a call from the show."

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A spectacular home in Charlotte, North Carolina will soon be featured on the hit HGTV show 'My Lottery Dream Home."

The show is hosted by David Bromstad, an interior designer who meets lottery winners and helps them find the house of their dreams. He takes a list of their requirements and shows them the homes that match.

The episode will feature Michael, a man who won $100,000 on a scratch off ticket -- until he won $750,000 just five weeks later. With his first win, he helped his daughter's young family buy a house in suburban Charlotte, North Carolina. Now with his second win, Michael now wants to buy a townhouse close by so he can watch his grandson grow.

A Cornelius-based Meeting Street Homes and Communities told NBC Charlotte that they were contacted by the show's producers last fall.

“We are big fans of HGTV so it was an honor to get a call from the show,” says Meeting Street founder, Joe Roy. “We are also very pleased with our townhomes in Ayrsley and wouldn’t miss the chance to give a tour to a national audience.”

The Meeting Street model home toured in the episode is located at 2333 Silver Crescent Drive in Charlotte. Interior decorating was done by Creative Home Stagers of Charlotte.

The 1,966 square foot three-story townhome has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Its Ayrsley location is known for being pedestrian-friendly with great entertainment, shopping and dining just a stroll away.

Episode 607 of “My Lottery Dream Home” will air on Friday, February 1 at 9:00 pm.
