NSYNC receives Hollywood 'Walk of Fame' star today

The legendary boy band will receive the 2,636th star.

Kids of the 90's and 00's rejoice! Legendary boy band NSYNC will finally egt their long awaited star of the Hollywood "Walk of Fame" on April 30th. The strip of stars stretches down Hollywood Boulevard and their star will be near the Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, New Kids on the Block.

The entire band, Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, will be in attendance for the event and will host remarks from Ellen Degeneres and Carson Daly. NSYNC has sold more than 30 million records in the U.S. and 42 million more in the rest of the world. The group's first single, "I Want You Back," released in 1996, set records for fastest single by a new act reaching the charts (one week); the longest Top 10 stay for a new group (eight weeks); and the fastest newcomer to hit the Top 10 (three weeks).

Other notable songs include: "Bye Bye Bye," "Girlfriend," "Dirty Pop" and "It's Gonna Be Me." NSYNC a hiatus in 2002 and has not performed together since.
