CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Royal baby Archie is only a couple months old but his influence is already being felt around the world.
According to Nameberry, Archie is the most popular baby name for boys so far in 2019. The rest of the top five, in order, are Milo, Asher, Jasper and Silas.
We're crediting this one to the royal baby because last year, Archie was all the way down at 992 on the list.
As for the girls, well, let's just say Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a trendsetter. Isla, the name of his 1-year-old daughter, is at the top of the list for girls, ahead of Olivia, Aurora, Ada, and — our personal favorite — Charlotte.
Other popular names for girls include Lyra, Octavia and Oakley.
