HAMPTON, Va. — This event is perfect for the whole family where your pet can also attend here in Hampton Roads!

The expo will feature Johnny Peers, Muttville Comix. 

The performance will mostly star dogs who are rescues from shelters and pounds. The dogs who are starring in the show is Daphne, the world’s only skateboarding Basset Hound; Squeaky, the ladder climbing Fox Terrier; Mr. Pepe, who responds only to Spanish commands; and Sir Winston, who answers only to “Sir.”

“We’ve got something for everyone from the serious pet enthusiast to the casual pet admirer, including a chance to show off your pet in the 'Parade of Breeds,'" said Jeanne Emge, President of Premier Events.

The expo will have a wide range of products and services just for pets. Seminars and demonstrations on pet care and training will be presented by the country’s foremost authorities in the pet industry. All pets from dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, ferrets, and other animals will be covered in the seminars.

Along with all the interactive educational presentations and the many shopping options, there will also be continuous entertainment by nationally known pet organizations, and contests.

The expo will be held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center on Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 5-12 and children under 5 are free. Tickets are available online and at the door. Military discount is available at the door.
