NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- If you live in the City of Norfolk and you think your car tax bill is too high, Tuesday, May 23 is your chance to dispute it!
Drivers will need to bring their car to Southside Aquatics Center, located at 1750 Campostella Road.
The Commissioner of Revenue will look over the car and may adjust the bill based on body damage, interior damage, and high mileage. If your car is deemed "overvalued," you could save some money on your tax bill this year.
The tax relief day will begin at 9 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m.
Personal property tax bills are due on June 5.
