New tools for students and teachers to stay healthy

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation is doing its part to help students and teachers have extra tools to stay healthy. 

The organization sponsored a new wellness center on the campus of An Achievable Dream Middle and High School on Marshall Avenue in Newport News. The teachers and students have access to gym equipment they can use to stay healthy and well.

Mayor McKinley Price, NBA Referee Tony Brothers and Tennis Coach Eric Christiansen from Christopher Newport University helped with the grand opening on Wednesday. 

The event included celebrity tennis exhibition matches.
