NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- A man pleaded guilty in a murder-for-hire plot in Norfolk on Thursday.

Tristan Reeder pleaded guilty to attempted capital murder for hire. He'll serve five years in prison.

Last year, Anthony Johnson allegedly hired Reeder to kill his then-pregnant wife in exchange for $100,000 from her life insurance policy.

The wife survived, and gave birth to a healthy baby.

Johnson will be sentenced next month.
