HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) — Police are asking for the public's help to identify the person responsible for a shooting in Hampton early Monday morning.
Officers were called out to the 800 block of LaSalle Avenue around 12:21 a.m., where they found a 40-year-old Hampton man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injury.
The motive and circumstances of this shooting remain under investigation. Police do not have a suspect description at this time.
